A friend helped me build some raised beds this past fall and since it was too late in the season to plant much of anything except radishes, I ended up doing one entire bed of radishes! It made me so happy to see them grow.

I planted them again about two months ago. It was a bit cold, and so they were a little slower to grow, but the cold didn't stop them and now they are all about ready for harvest!

And I can definitely tell the difference in flavor - the fall radishes were almost sweet.

I do not worry about spacing them - they will grow right next to each other without any problems (other than perhaps an odd shape).
